Creating the First Ad
LinkedIn allows Advertisers to create up to fifteen different Ad variations that combine both text and images to work best for them.
You start off with the Ad destination.
Here you can submit the URL to where you want to send surfers that click on your Ad. For the purpose of registering quality results, see to it that the destination URL is specific to the product/service that you want to promote in the Ad.
You can also advertise your corporation/company page or any other page on LinkedIn. LinkedIn Members that click on your Ad will be directed to the selected page.
You can even add a small image to the ad as well. Its small, but it can grab viewer attention more than just text.
A clear and precise headline will get the attention of the targeted audience. Remember, the best headlines are relevant to the surfers that you are targeting.
Your Ad description should be precise and efficiently communicate your service/product benefits. Make sure you follow it with a captivating Call-to-Action.
You can also pick a From Name. This is very important to do. This increases your credibility with your audience.
You can add a second, third, fourth and more variations if you so wish.
To create different but useful Ad variations, it’s important that you use different headlines to captivate your audience.
