PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE 

Personal Appearance of Security Guard should at all times:
1. Wear clothing that is smart, presentable, and easily identifies the individual as a SECURITY GUARD, and is in accordance with the Stronghold A3 Security guidelines.
2. Wear his/her Stronghold A3 Security ID and on the outside of their clothing whilst on duty, displaying the photograph side.

PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE & BEHAVIOR

The professional attitude and behavior of the Security Guard should:
1. Greet visitors to the Site/Company in a friendly and courteous manner.

2.  Be friendly and do not discriminate on the grounds of gender, sexual orientation, marital status, race, nationality, ethnicity, religion or beliefs, disability, or any other difference in individuals which is not relevant to the Security Guard's responsibility.
3. Carry out his/her duties in a professional and courteous manner with due regard and consideration to others.
4 Behave with personal integrity and understanding.
5. Use moderate language, which is not defamatory or abusive, when dealing with members of the public and colleagues.
6. Be fit for work and remain alert at all times.
7. Develop knowledge of local services and amenities appropriately.

PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT IN CARRYING OUT DUTY

 

The Professional Conduct in carrying out his/her duty,  a Security Guard should:
1.  Never solicit or accept any bribe or other consideration from any person.

2.  Not drink alcohol or be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
3.  Not display preferential treatment towards individuals.
4.  Never abuse his/her position of authority.
5. Never carry any item which is or could be considered threatening
6. Report all incidents to the management.
7. Co-operate fully with members of the Police, Local Authority, Stronghold A3 Security Management, and other statutory agencies with an interest in the client or the way they are run.

PROFESSIONAL VALUES TOWARDS CLIENT & STRONGHOLD A3 SECURITY AGENCY 

 

In upholding values and standards of the Agency and of the client, the Security Guard should:
1. Make herself familiar with the employing client's standards.
2.. Be perceptive of the employing client's culture and values.
3. Contribute to the goals and objectives of the employing client's Local ‘House’ rules 

4.  Make herself familiar with the employing client's  Building Layout, Emergency Exits, Gates, CCTV, Muster Points, Fire Alarm Positions, and Fire Fighting Equipment.
5.  At end of the duty, report any hazards or incidents that have occurred throughout the course of the duty duration and the outcome of them on the incident reporting page. 
6. Look after and support the welfare and needs of colleagues while on duty.

7.  There is to be no use of mobile phones during work unless it is to contact the emergency services.
