CAPRO Mozambique Year 2021 Ministry Report        “What A Mighty God We Serve” ‘’Mightier than the thunder of the great waves, mightier than the breakers of the sea – the Lord on high is mighty’’ – Psalms 93:4 ‘’Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen’’ – Ephesians 3:20-21 Beloved, These two passages would sum up our report and testimony of what the Lord has done for us – both as a family and as a team of missionaries in Mozambique. With this report I will like to bring you up to date and request your on-going partnership with us. May God bless you.and as I report, CAPRO Mozambique is fully under the leadership of Mozambicans, PRAISE BE TO GOD!

3. Ministry Reports: i. Mozambique Training Fund: At the beginning of 2017, a Partner to CAPRO gave a financial grant to CAPRO Mozambique with a specific instruction that the money be used to train and raise indigenous workers. Brethren, we have reason to thank the Lord. A judicious use and management of that fund has gone a long way to bring us to where we are today. We have been able to train thousands. We have envisioned hundreds and we have recruited tens. Only heaven will reveal the impact of that gift given by faith. Through that gift, I learn the powerful potential of large, designated giving and I’ll encourage other partners – whom the Lord has endowed - to think of similar acts of faith… they go a very long way. ii. ‘Faith Is Crazy’: Way back in 2014, Bilhah and I made a ‘faith’ and ‘crazy’ decision. We decided to adopt 5 out of the list of 22 Unreached People Groups of Mozambique for Church Planting & Ministry engagement. We sincerely and erroneously thought we were the ones who are going to reach them and we moved up north for that purpose. It later became obvious that God had other plans. We are glad to report that today, we have raised, trained and placed full time workers among four of the five of them. We have a couple moving into the fifth one any moment soon. And by grace, in line with CAPRO’s Enlargement Agenda, we have actually increased the number of the UPGs we are engaging from 5 to 8! iii. We have seen the most growth under the two years of the Epidemic – Covid-19. It’s a mystery that we can’t explain. Here are a few quick glimpses: a. We now have 13 FULL TIME TRAINED STAFF. b. We have trained 6 candidates in the English language and they are waiting to go for full time missionary training any moment soon. c. As a back-up strategy and to multiply the effort to reach as many as possible in the least possible time, we started a 3-Months per session School of Church Planting in 2020. We trained 13 people the first year and 37 people in 2021. We plan to take in 50 candidates in 2022. d. We have been developing a Church Planting & Equipping Centre the last 5 years. Out of a total of nine units of housing, through some of your gifts and donations from different partners, we have completed four structures i.e. Missionary House, Dinning/Kitchen Block, Staff Housing, Block of Conveniences and Wall Fence. We are trusting God for funds to build Two Blocks of Dormitories, A Block of Classrooms and a Multi-Purpose Conference hall. e. God has blessed CAPRO Mozambique with faithful and focused workers. As soon as we train them, we deploy them to pioneer new works. By the grace of God today, beginning from one base of operation in 2016, CAPRO Mozambique now operates from 7 Bases (Nampula, Namaita, Moma, Niassa, Monte Puez, Condominio & Muecate). f. We have now opened fields among the Yao Tribe (NIASSA), Macua Meetto (Monte Puez), Macua Marrevone (Moma), Macua Central (Namaita & Muecate) & Mwanis (Nampula City). g. Our Disciple Making Movement ministry is producing small Movements of Disciples, Discovery Groups and House Churches. But we are seeing signs of abundance of rain coming our way. Hallelujah.
