Dryer Over Heating Causes & Fixes
If you have a dryer that gets to hot and burns the clothes then the high limit thermostat is to blame.
Its recommended to change the entire thermal cut off kit if the high limit thermostat fails.
The burning smell could also be coming from a build up of lint near the burner.
If alot of lint is observed vacuum it out and the problem might be fixed.
