DYSMENORRHOEA
A Condition of the genitourinary and endocrine systems.
Dysmenorrhoea is the pain associated with periods, and may be classified as either
• Primary (commencing in adolescence) or
• Secondary (presents around 30 years of age and is often associated with another condition).
SYMPTOMS OF DYSMENORRHOEA INCLUDE:
• abdominal pain that radiates to the low back and thighs,
• nausea,
• dizziness,
• vomiting and,
• changes in bowel functions
