Occipitofrontalis (frontal belly):
Referred tension-type headache pain to the top of the head and sometimes the forehead,
Temporal region, behind the eye, and forehead,
Sternocleidomastoid (Sternal Division):
Can produce referred pain to the occiput, forehead, and deep eye,

Pain Referred to the Temples and Side of the Head
Masseter (superficial and deep fibers):
Temple, eyebrow, and sometimes molars,
Sternocleidomastoid (sternal head):
Above the eye, temple, cheek, and ear,
Temple region, upper teeth, eyebrow,
Can refer to the side of the head and cause tension headaches (less common, via fascia and posture),
Refer to the side of the head and cheek,
Can refer to the temple and jaw area,

Pain Referred to the Back of the Head (Occiput)
Broad pain at the back of the head, often felt as a band around the skull,
Upper neck and occipital region,
Deep occipital headache, sometimes described as "skull base pain",
Commonly refers to temples, base of skull, and around the ear,
Sternocleidomastoid (Sternal Division):
Can produce referred pain to the occiput, forehead, and deep eye,

Pain Referred to the Jaw and Face
Under the chin, lower incisor teeth,
Jaw angle and upper neck near mastoid,
Deep ear pain, TMJ pain, and clicking,
Jaw, lower molars, cheek, TMJ area, ear,
Inside the mouth, throat, and ear,
Upper teeth, side of the face,
Refer to the side of the head and cheek,
Can refer to the temple and jaw area,
Pectoralis Major (Clavicular Fibers):
Can refer to the jaw and lower cheek,
