The eye is a delicate and sensitive organ, and any excessive pressure or force applied to it can cause harm.

Some of the potential dangers of massaging the human eye are:

- Corneal Abrasion

- Eye Infections

- Increased Intraocular Pressure(can cause irreversible damage to the optic nerve)

- Retinal Detachment

- Eye Hemorrhage

• Treatment Considerations

Use only light pressure over and around the eye area.

Avoid any treatment to the eye area if the client is wearing contact lenses.
