I decided to sacrifice myself to design and fashion as a child. Like all girls, I loved beautiful outfits. I first sewed for myself, for close girlfriends and arranged fashion shows for them. Often it was in the yard, gathering a lot of people. Even then I realized that I want to devote my whole life to this. My parents supported me, and I entered the Art School, where the teachers noticed my abilities and kept telling me: you need to go to Kiev! But, unfortunately, I am not from a well-to-do family and there was no money to live in Kiev. I stayed in my hometown, but continued to dream, create, sew.

I work in different styles, I like to combine different fabrics: guipure with fur, cotton with chiffon, fabrics for coats, tweed fabrics can be combined with anything, while my product will look feminine and appropriate! I combine classics with sports, tenderness with rough accessories, heavy shoes. Therefore, it is difficult to say about a single style from Marina Vlasenko.

WHAT MATERIALS DOES MARINA LIKE TO WORK WITH THE MOST?

I just love to create beauty, and what kind of fabric it will be is secondary. Of course, I like working with expensive fabrics, natural silks, chiffon, expensive guipure.

This is all very, very individual. Depending on the fabrics, the complexity of the work. I look at the material capabilities of clients: everyone wants to be beautiful and I am ready to help with this.
