DR. SEBI EXPLAINS THE BENEFITS OF SEA MOSS!
How To Prepare?
1. Wash the Sea Moss good and proper! This Sea Moss is fresh from the sea so you’ll need to wash away the salt, sand, rocks and any other impurities.
2. Soak the Sea Moss in spring / alkaline / distilled filtered water and keep in a closed container for 24-28hrs, the longer you let it soak the more it expands and the more vital nutrients are reactivated with a more consistent gelatin texture. Soak with a piece of lime (this helps remove bad bacteria and will get rid of the salty sea taste). Make sure you soak in 2 times more water than sea moss as it expands in size.
3. Wash and rinse sea moss again 2-3 times in strainer and remove any other impurities you find.
For Sea Moss Liquid - simply add the sea moss in a blender with spring or alkaline water and blend for 1-2 minute. For every 200g (1 cup) Sea Moss, use 3-4 cups of water. If you don’t want small bits of sea moss in your liquid, but don’t waste the pulp add it to your smoothies or use it an skin exfoliant - please note this method will give you a thick liquid result if you want a solid gel result please see the following method.
For Sea Moss Gel: boil a pot of water, remove from the fire and add sea moss and cover the pot to steep for 30-40mins. Strain the Sea Moss from the pot (keep the water from the pot to use later), then add the steeped and strained Sea Moss to a blender. Add water from the pot which you steeped the Sea Moss in. For every 100g (1/2 cup) sea moss use 2-3 cups of water.
Pour it into a glass jar or container with (*BAMBOO* eco friendly)) secure lid, then store in the fridge over night and it will thicken up to a pudding consistency once set. You can store it up to 3-4 weeks.
