How can you stay motivated throughout the season? 

 

There are many ways that you can stay motivated throughout the season. 

 

You can set goals for yourself, and work to achieve them. To make that even more motivational, link your goals to both your values and short-term performance outcomes, for example hitting a certain time in the Bronco or squatting a certain weight. 

 

You can also find a role model or someone who inspires you and look to them for motivation. 

 

You can also create a support group of people within your team who will help keep you accountable and motivated. 

 

Lastly, you can mix up your environment and surroundings from time to time as change tends to make things seem "fresh" again and our brains respond well to that. 

 

For example, take your training outside or create a new routine to stay focused. 

 

Healthy competition can also fall under this. By competing with a fellow teammate for times or records, you can stay motivated and improve both of your performances at the same time.
