Who We Are

Since its inception in 2002, the Mangalorean Association of Canada (MAC), a profound dream manifested by 16 families has evolved into a force instrumental in building a thriving and inclusive community within the Canadian and international ecosystem.  Each program, event, and activity organized by MAC promotes belonging and representation, a platform for networking and leadership while enriching and strengthening the multicultural Konkani landscape.  MAC is the hand that lends support to new immigrant families seeking to make Canada their home; it is the partner for parents and students who wish to leverage the Annual Scholarship Program; it is the soul and spirit that shows empathy and solidarity for international organizations and Canadian causes that change people’s lives, and it is the enviable association that has never swerved from its original vision, purpose, and objectives. 

"Together we make a difference” - our motto is even more integral today as MAC continues its exponential growth journey with innovative programs, increased presence on social media, the transformation of its website, creation of an intuitive mobile forum to engage and interact, and finally be the leader and voice of our Konkani community.
