Bruce Andrews wide array of experience includes:

• Singer-song writer and Inductee in the Alabama Blues Hall of Fame with 40 plus years of performance experience.

• Grant writing and Arts program planning

• Venue management and coordination with artists including event promotion

• Commercial Music marketing with The Benson Music Group (now Provident Music

• Extensive Mural painting experience working in concert with interior designers

Sandra Annonio

Business Manager

Sandra Annonio has lived in Shelby County since 2001.  She and her husband Bill relocated to Alabama from South Florida after purchasing a staffing agency in downtown Birmingham. As a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a degree in Marketing, Sandra joined the team part-time working in marketing/administrative office assistance to build awareness of the SCAC.  She currently is the SCAC Business manager.  In addition, she has taken many, many hours of pottery classes and sells her items through local art show.  She is a partner in County Road Raku Pottery which specializes in Horse Hair Raku pottery. She has two daughters, Jessica and Amanda.  Sandra is a member of the Symphony Volunteers Council, the Vignette Club of Columbiana and the SCAC Pottery Collective.

Lindsay Dyess

Education Coordinator

Lindsay Dyess is a graduate of the University of  Montevallo  with a Bachelors of Fine Art.  She began volunteering with the SCAC in 2013 and in June of 2016 joined the staff.  In Fall of 2019 she took the position of full-time Office Administrator and Education Coordinator. Lindsay is responsible for class scheduling, class registrations, marketing promotions and working our events.  In her leisure time (which is not much) she enjoys photography, traveling, and creating artwork which she sales at local art shows and online in her Etsy Store (LindsayDyessArt).

Benny Ndalima

Development Coordinator

Music Instructor

Benny Ndalima is a native Tanzanian who recently earned a BA in Business and minor in Music from the University of Montevallo. He was introduced to the Shelby County Arts Council through the University of Montevallo’s Falcon Scholars program. During his internship, doors of opportunities opened up for Ndalima because of his hard work and now he is the Development Coordinator for the SCAC. In his spare time Ndalima enjoys playing the drums and sharing his love of music with others. He has adopted a diverse approach as a pianist through gospel, jazz and world music influences. His culture and self-taught background inspired the idea to explore music education in an academic institution. Ndalima also composes music and has been involved with a few orchestras and several bands. Come explore some intercultural musicianship with Benny!
