Racism is a pervasive problem that affects workplaces across the globe. It can create a hostile work environment and negatively impact the mental health and productivity of individuals who experience it. To address this issue, a mindfulness meditation program can be a helpful tool for healing the hurts of racism in the workplace.
Welcome to our mindfulness meditation program for healing the hurts of racism in the workplace. Our 5-week program is designed to help individuals develop the skills and mindset needed to address racism, promote inclusivity, and foster healing from the pain of racism.
Our program is rooted in the principles of mindfulness, empathy, and compassion, and is designed to provide a safe and supportive space for learning, growth, and reflection. Through guided meditations, reflections, and affirmations, participants will learn how to cultivate greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, empathy, and communication skills.
Our program is organized into five weekly themes, each focused on a different aspect of healing from the hurts of racism:
Acknowledging and Naming the Pain of Racism
Sitting with Discomfort: Exploring Our Emotions
Compassion for Self and Others
Embracing Our Vulnerability
Letting Go of Shame and Guilt.
Each week, participants will engage in guided meditations and reflections related to the weekly theme, and will have the opportunity to connect with a supportive community of peers who share their commitment to healing from the hurts of racism.
Our program is designed for individuals of all backgrounds and levels of experience with mindfulness meditation. Whether you are just beginning your mindfulness journey or are an experienced practitioner, our program offers a supportive and inclusive space for learning, growth, and healing.
