Why this App?

It is reported that 68 million people in the United States speak a language other than English at home.

This represents 21.6% of the US population, of which only 8.6% of those speak limited English.

As Sleep Technologists, we often test patients from this segment of the population. Even when a commercial Interpreter is available, they may choose not to use them. Often times a patient will bring a family family member to translate for them, and you really aren't convinced they are conveying the true meanings of your explanation.

Somni-Connect bridges the communication gap with your patients with an explanation of Sleep Apnea and CPAP Therapy through the use of videos and written word in their native language.
